One of my favorite parts of summer is attending outdoor music festivals. And though most people head to Coachella, this year I headed down to Charleston, SC for the High Water Festival. Not only was it my first time attending it, but it was also my first time visiting the beautiful city of Charleston, and I loved it!
High Water Fest was a blast! The fest itself is only a few years old, organized and created by Shovels & Rope. There were tons of artists and bands that blew me away. The music was so so so good, the weather was amazing, and of course the food and beer rocked!
This trip was primarily for the festival, though I got to do a little bit of sight seeing. Charleston is absolutely beautiful and charming, and I do hope to visit again to tour the city – and of course post a travel guide 😉
