Staycation at Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner

Last weekend, I went on a little getaway for a fun staycation at the very impressive Hyatt Regency hotel in Tysons Corner. This is the newest hotel in the Tysons region in over 20 years. Overall, my experience was 5 stars and I want to share all the fun details with you!

Upon arrival and check in, a very friendly valet and front desk staff greeted us. We got to stay in one of their luxurious suites, with floor to ceiling windows that provided amazing views and filled the space with sunlight. Some of the awesome amenities in the suite included large tvs both in the living area and bedroom, an espresso machine, a mini fridge, a beautiful and spacious built-in closet, stand-up shower with waterfall shower head, his and hers sinks, various lighting features in the bathroom vanity, a separate bidet room, motion-activated floor light by night stands, bath robes and slippers, and all the space you could want in a hotel room.

Other amenities in the hotel are the indoor heated pool that I love because indoor pools are the best. There is also a huge gym with all the equipment needed to stay fit during your travel. And for a quick coffee or snack craving cure, there is a snack bar that provides a great selection of food and beverages, and even wine! We got a nice bottle of Cabernet to enjoy in our room.

During our stay, we dined at Barrel and Bushel, a phenomenal restaurant connected to the hotel. The food was absolutely fantastic and we had the pleasure of enjoying some of Chef Dan’s creations, as well as indulge for both brunch and dinner. They have such a great menu there – my favorites were the overnight oats, French toast and fried chicken, the pork belly, and the scallops. My favorite dessert item was the bread pudding, YUM!

Of course the best part of staying at a hotel in Tysons Corner is shopping at the mall, and this Hyatt Regency is literally connected to the mall! And it’s connected to the Metro station…talk about convenience!

If you’re ever in the Tysons region, you absolutely must stay at the Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner. With its best-in-class design, and superb service, dining, and location, it’s sure to make your travel experience more than you could imagine.

    XO,

    Zoha
