Temperatures in the Bay Area have gotten cooler but still not as cold as what I’m used to…back in the east coast November easily dips down to the 40s and even high 30s. The plentiful sunshine here definitely adds to the “warmer” fall weather. So I wanted to share how you can take some of your favorite summer pieces and transition them into fall, while maintaining a weather-appropriate look.
This outfit is an example of how to do just that (shop the look below!!!) The key is to incorporate fall accents…such as leather, faux fur, and suede. My Soprano skirt is a summery shade of pink but because it’s made of polyester, it’s thicker; I can wear it now as well. And it goes great with this multi-colored striped top from Nordstrom Rack, so I added the black cardigan which has front leather paneling for a fall touch. Also, don’t forget about shoes…the right shoes can provide that fall look. During the summer I’d wear this outfit with strappy sandals, but I also love pairing a full midi skirt with booties! And this black & white clutch completes the look.I’m looking forward to Thanksgiving and hope you all have a lovely time with friends and family 🙂
