Hi lovely readers,
On Sunday I celebrated my 34th birthday! It’s wild to think about how much has changed in just one year for me, and now I’m moving to South Carolina to start a whole new life. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my 30s, it’s that no matter how much you plan, life always has other plans in store for you. Some of the most AMAZING things have happened unplanned and when I least expected them, which makes life so exciting, unpredictable, and worth living to the fullest every day.
Given the obvious current Covid times, celebrations are very different and that was the case with this birthday. I would have been celebrating with my family in PA but instead I had a very small birthday celebration. In fact, Rob and I drove that day back to DC from South Carolina, and did a mini celebration with champagne, cake, and yummy food. Ironically, it’s been one of the BEST birthdays…because I’ve realized there’s nothing more I could wish for than the health and well-being of the people I love the most. If we don’t have our health, the rest means nothing.
So cheers to the 30s being the best of my life because it truly has been, and to health!
